It is open at Hespuhúsið every day from 10:00 to 17:00, except Sundays, through December. Outside those hours, you can call 8652910 or send an email to hespa@hespa.is.
When I moved from Borgarfjörður to South Iceland, the goal was to extend the opening hours and operate for more months, and now it looks like it will be open for 8 months this year. However, it is never truly closed— even if there are no official opening hours, you can always call 8652910 or send an email to hespa@hespa.is.
It looks like it will be a fantastic summer—group bookings have never been higher, and walk-in traffic has been good in April and early May.
